MEET MAIKO: Meet & Greet, Maiko Show and Experience

MEET MAIKO tickets cover a live performance, meet-and-greet, and hands-on cultural session with maiko, the apprentice geisha of Kyoto. Maiko training follows a strict tradition rooted in the Gion district, where apprentices spend years mastering dance, music, and the formal arts of Japanese hospitality before achieving full geiko status.

During the experience, guests watch a short stage performance of traditional dance, then meet the maiko in person for conversation and photographs. The session typically covers the significance of the elaborate kimono, white makeup, and distinctive hair ornaments worn by apprentices.
