Sažete recenzije
Visitors praise the Eurail Global Flexible Pass for its flexibility and convenience, allowing them to create their own European adventure. With a rating of 4.40/5, this pass is a great option for travelers who want to explore multiple countries without the hassle of itineraries. However, some visitors note that the pass can be expensive, especially for shorter trips.
The Eurail Global Flexible Pass gives you complete freedom to explore 33 European countries by train on your own schedule. Unlike fixed itinerary passes, this flexible option lets you choose any 4 to 15 travel days within a 30 or 60-day period, perfect for spontaneous trips and changing plans. You can hop between major cities like Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and Vienna, or venture into smaller towns and countryside destinations across the continent.
This entirely digital pass works through the Rail Planner app on your phone. Simply activate your pass using the code provided after purchase, add each journey to generate a QR code ticket, and present it to railway inspectors when requested. No paper tickets or station queues required. The pass also includes discounts on hotels, guided tours, ferry crossings and attractions throughout Europe, making it excellent value for multi-country adventures.
You have 11 months from purchase to activate your Eurail Pass, which then becomes valid for either 30 or 60 consecutive days depending on your chosen option. The pass is available only to non-residents of Europe, Russia and Turkey. You can use it for two domestic journeys in your country of residence (one outbound and one return trip).
Download the Rail Planner app before you travel to activate your pass and plan routes. While the pass covers train travel, seat reservations are required on many international and high-speed services for an additional fee. Book these in advance through the app or at railway stations, especially during peak travel periods. Consider staying in Paris as your base to explore France before heading to other European destinations, or use the pass to take day trips from the French capital to neighbouring countries.
Before you start your Eurail journey, consider the following tips. Pack light and comfortable clothing suitable for changing weather conditions. Bring a portable charger for your phone and camera, as well as a universal power adapter for charging your devices. Plan to arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Additionally, consider purchasing a Eurail Select Pass for free travel on buses and ferries in certain countries. If you have any mobility issues, inform the train staff in advance to ensure a smooth journey.
To ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors, please follow these guidelines. Photography is allowed for personal use, but tripods and commercial photography require permission from the train staff. Be respectful of other passengers and keep noise levels down. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of the train staff and evacuate the train quickly. Smoking is not allowed on any Eurail trains.
