This full-day small-group tour combines two of South Africa's greatest attractions: a Big 5 safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve and wine tasting at a renowned Cape estate. You'll start with a comfortable hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle, where you'll meet your expert guide for the day.

At Aquila Private Game Reserve, you'll board open 4x4 safari vehicles for a two to three hour game drive across the reserve. Your knowledgeable guide will share insights about local ecosystems, animal tracking and conservation efforts whilst you search for the Big 5 - lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffalos. The reserve is also home to zebras, antelope and numerous bird species.

After a hearty buffet lunch at the main lodge, the tour continues to Fairview Wine Estate for a curated tasting session paired with local cheeses. This combination of wildlife encounters and South African viticulture makes for a comprehensive Western Cape experience.

Good to Know

This is a full-day tour with hotel pickup included. You'll need to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time and bring valid ID for entry and age verification at the winery. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
