Best time to visit

When to fly to Barcelona

May to June and September to October avoid the August crowds and heat. Beach season runs from June through September. Mobile World Congress (late February) drives hotel prices up for the week.

Plan ahead: Sagrada Família and Park Güell timed-entry tickets sell out 1 to 2 weeks ahead in summer; book Camp Nou stadium tour around the football calendar (closed match days).
